About the trainer

Originally from the Chicago suburb of Deerfield, Illinois, Marni moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology she knew that she wanted to work with animals. Originally, she planned to study Wildlife Conservation in Graduate School. ¬†After adopting two dogs of her own, she decided that training dogs to be well mannered family members would be a more rewarding career choice. She then completed the Animal Behavior College dog trainer certification program which included volunteering at the Denver Animal Shelter and working closely with an established dog trainer. After years of experience and having rescued dogs of her own to practice with, she is loves to work with new families and to help dogs learn new tricks.
